New Moon in Taurus brings new manifestations and seedings on many levels.

The seeding of the manifestations may have happened a while ago, so you will see things manifesting – that rise up, that indicate it is time to deal with them, in a ‘new’ light and with a ‘new’ thought process and fresh ‘new’ practical action. This could be a sudden death, a sudden truth revealed.

NOT ENOUGH TIME

What birthday are you this year?

Do you get the feeling that time is moving quickly? That you are out of time? That you do not have enough time? That you do not know where the time has gone?

Do you feel that you have enough time, and you find that you are not utilising it effectively? You are procrastinating or daydreaming?

What is your relationship with time like right now? Are you happy with your age and where you are?

How is not having enough time affecting you?

For a moment, just think, How is not having enough time affecting me?

What answers did you come up with?

MENTAL: Not having enough time may affect you mentally. You may find it difficult to concentrate or think clearly. There is simply no flow in your thought process. You may even get confused as to what to do. You are unable to make a decision, to decide what to do, to know where to start. You spend your time worrying and anxious.

PHYSICAL: You feel too tired physically to move or do anything. You feel frozen like ice – immobilised. You sleep. You feel tired. You sit all day and watch TV! You procrastinate and ‘wait’ for a sign or a person; and nothing happens. You beat yourself up for ‘wasting’ the time by not doing anything. You tell yourself that because ‘this’ did not happen, ‘that’ did not happen. Or you panic and run around doing all the wrong things, either because you have not prioritised, or are acting out of fear.

EMOTIONAL: Not having enough time, may find you over-reacting with your emotional responses to yourself and/or others, such as crying, shouting, impatience, anger, or snapping. Your reactions do not get you the results you want. You realise you are more frustrated with yourself, than the situation, or people around you. FEELING: Not having enough time creates different negative feelings in a person. What negative feelings do you notice in yourself:  Overwhelmed? A failure? Not good enough? Not supportive? Not meeting deadlines? Not finishing on time? Not measuring up? Not fulfilled? Insignificant? Not valued or recognised for your worth?

RIPPLE EFFECT: You are stressing about stressing. Your tension with yourself builds up negatively for you. The ripple effect of all these things can make you feel insecure, e.g. that you are not worthy, lacking confidence and self esteem. It can make you aggressive and competitive. It can make you critical and judgemental. You may even feel a need to undermine others to cover your lack of self-confidence.

The ripple effect of this negative spiral is something you must watch out for this New Moon in Taurus. It is so easy to slide into a negative pattern,  if you are not aware and alert and mindful of yourself.

FEAR and MONEY

Do you get the feeling you need to face a fear and take a practical action (Taurus) that demonstrates you are facing the fear? For example, you know you have to sort out your money, with reference to your mortgage, your loan or your debt. Yet, deep down, you feel a dread,  you know you are afraid of the reality of your situation. You ask yourself: Can I afford this mortgage, debt, loan? Can I pay it off? Do I have enough to pay it off at the end of the term? What is my reality with reference to my money and my mortgage?

Any form of fear with money has to be addressed with this practical New Moon in Taurus, an Earth sign, that asks us to look at the practical side of our life. How are we paying our bills? How is our health? What are we eating? It is nourishing us or killing us? How are we looking after ourselves? Are we relaxing and taking breaks? Are we honouring out time with self and taking time out from the stresses of life? Or are we chasing out stresses and tensions and making them a priority, and not your health.

Notice what the triggers are. Notice what feelings it brings out in you. Notice the images you see when you close your eyes and when you are thinking about the fear. Notice noticing your fear. It is so important to own your fear/s and admit them. What are your fears?

So, what is Fear? For me, Fear is my friend that visits me, to let me know that something needs to be attended to. It rears it ‘ugly’ head and does not go away. It is practical, and it is real. I am aware it could be not practical and not real.

Fear tells me that it is time to change – to move – to shake – to live. Fear tells me that I am in a lot of pain, that is causing me more pain, that could be damaging my health or my work. Fear tells me to be aware and to look at ways to remove this obstruction to my happiness.

I can put the fear under the carpet – but eventually it will bulge somewhere else – forcing me to face the fear that may be the reason I am blocked and not moving forward. Fear can immobilise you or make you take action. It can safe you if you allow it to save you or it can damage you for life.

Fear is my friend that enables me to live a happy full on life. Are you ready to see fear as your friend? What new friendship will you have with your fear? When you hug your fear it vanishes. When you face your fear it vanishes.

In Hawaii, the Kilauea Volcano, has erupted causing chaos and highlighting the power of Madame Pele, Goddess of the Volcano. She creates and destroys Mother Earth through her eruptions. We destroy the old to make way for the new. What old thing / fear do you need to destroy to make way for the new in your life?

How do we embrace the fear of the volcano to move our lives forward? Life is a constant facing of fears and going through the fear. Being the fear. Seeing the fear. Walking through the fear. Banishing the fear. Being triumph because of the fear. Fear is my friend. It teaches me. It loves me. It empowers me. It warns me.

Exercises

TWO PRACTICAL ACTIONS to help with overwhelm and change.

JOURNALING: Take time out for yourself and sit still. Write out in your journal all the things in your head you have kept there. It will lighten your head and release the stress, worry and the having to remember everything in your head!!! Pour everything down on paper. There does not need to be an order. Just get it all out on to paper and out of your head. It is amazing how easy it becomes when you see something written on paper. It is out of your head and now written on paper – you can see it. Celebrate yourself when you have done this – Congratulations.

Next, you can go back and look at what you have written and put them in some order. For example, you highlight all the housework in yellow, all the bills to pay in green, etc. This way you can see the sections they belong in.

Next, you can then put a priority on each list or point you have written. Which is urgent to today? What can wait next week or next month?

Take the practical action. Remember to tick and date when you have completed a task. Congratulate yourself for every little action of triumph. It does not have to be a big action. Every baby step helps. Let me know how you get on.

This is a time of great manifestation and change – even if you feel resistant to change – change most come and change most happen. Taurus does not like change. So, this may be an uncomfortable time for change. Be a spiritual rebel and change.

A butterfly awakens by it struggle of emerging from the cocoon. You cannot help the butterfly as it transforms from a cocoon to a butterfly. It has to go through that struggle itself. It emerges beautiful, colourful and free. Did you know the process of becoming a beautiful butterfly starts as an egg? Did you know that this egg hatches into a caterpillar (lava), which eats and eats all day, till one day it stops and hangs itself upside down from a leaf? Reminds me of a bat hanging upside down! While upside down the caterpillar spins a silky cocoon around itself. This shiny chrysalis protects the caterpillar as it digests itself and continues it process to become a butterfly, when it breaks free of the cocoon it has made for itself. Isn’t this how life is? We all need to create effort to produce something beautiful and alive.
